Simply put, we love to play danceable blues and classic rock!
KC Blues Bombers was formed from a love of playing live music. Band influences include blues and classic rock music like Eric Clapton, The Allman Brothers, Muddy Waters, Albert King, Bo Diddley, and many more!

Cork - Lead Vocals
Cork’s musical adventure started with The Beatles, but soon veered into blues based rock like Cream, Bad Company, & The Rolling Stones before discovering artists like Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf, and Bo Diddley.
In addition to singing and playing rhythm guitar, he also dabbles in slide guitar, harmonica, bass, and keyboards.
Favorite singers: Paul Rodgers, Muddy Waters, Paul McCartney, Little Richard, Van Morrison.
Rob - Lead Guitar
If you’ve played at an open jam around Kansas City, you’ve probably seen Rob honing his firey lead guitar skills. Rob enjoys hunting and fishing seasons, but says “Playing the blues never goes out of season. Plus, you don’t need a license!”
Favorite guitarists: Eric Clapton, Elmore James, Albert King, Robert Johnson, Jimi Hendrix, Duane Allman.
Josh - Lead Drummer :)
Josh supplies the steady backbeat to the band and is the glue that holds it all together. Josh is a Wichita, KS native who followed in the footsteps of his father - also, a talented percussionist. The next time you see Josh make sure to shout “More cowbell!” at him. That or just put money in the tip jar!
Lead Bassist
Currently, KC Blues Bombers has a rotating group of talented bassists who play in other local bands.
